The Ultimate Cleanse

Now is a great time of year to clean out the colon and digestive system before winter comes along and we start to get viruses!  Did you know that the human body's small intestine can hold up to 2000 viruses at a time and that we only know what 5% of them are up to??!

The Ultimate cleanse is one of the most comprehensive cleanses our team at NZ Health Shop has ever come across.  It is based on the work of renowned herbalist Bernard Jensen and really is very cleansing. This month we are running a special on The Ultimate Cleanse with a10% saving. Buy one for a friend to do together and get free delivery.

The Ultimate cleanse has been shown to support people with many health problems and it is claimed by many that it could even prevent future illness. This detox is like a broom through your intestines and helps to clean the bloodstream by encouraging  the active release of the fecal matter in the intestines, thereby decreasing the natural load on your organs i.e. liver and kidneys.

Included is a large, full-colour instruction book with more information and recipes.  The Ultimate Cleanse kit contains 15 herbs to remove the mucoid plaque from your intestines and colon and Milk Thistle for the needed LIVER support. Milk Thistle is a natural protector of the Liver – this is known as a hepatoprotective herb and is an antioxidant which means it protects the liver from metabolic; environmental toxins and alcohol/drug taking or abuse. Milk Thistle has traditionally being used for hepatitis, fatty liver, liver cirrhosis, jaundice, gall stones and to lower cholesterol. Milk Thistle is considered by herbalists to be a digestive tonic and is used for poor digestion due to liver dysfunction.

The Ultimate Cleanse is designed for 10 days but is very flexible, so you can do it over what ever length of time you like. If you are sensitive you may want to do it slower over 20 days or if you have done an Ultimate Cleanse before you may choose to double the amount of capsules and do the cleanse over 5 days.

Visit our website for more information on this great product and to view all our articles and a full list of the services and products we offer.

Seba
Welcome to Seba

Seba in up and coming Fort Street prides itself on putting the “hospitality” back into the hospitality industry.  Not just another rowdy bar with grumpy staff and poor service, this place has an inviting ambience with warm colours, dim lighting and the music set at a level to enjoy a conversation.

Seba wants to create an alternative lunch venue for all our local patrons. Instead of a café lunch, come down to Seba on Friday and have an enjoyable lunch accompanied with your favourite tipple. If we get the support, and it looks like people in the local area are looking for an alternative lunch offering, we will open for lunch more regularly. Let Jarred know what you think.

And don't forget that we have Texas Hold 'em every Thursday from 7pm, $5 drinks on Friday from 5pm - 7pm, plus, playing Live @ Seba every Friday throughout March from 8 – 10 pm we have The Timothy Williams MPC Jam. A live trio of improv jazz and breakbeat sound to ease you into the weekend after that busy week in the office.

Note: We have a 24 hour licence so accommodating your function is not a problem.

ST. PATRICK’S MUSICAL CELEBRATION WITH THE APO

When Irish Eyes Are Smiling – Symphonic Pops Series, Concert 1

Saturday 15th March, 3pm, Aotea Centre, THE EDGE

With a combination of a full symphony orchestra, a celebrated Irish tenor, champion Irish dancers and a selection of heart-stirring and toe-tapping melodies, the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra’s When Irish Eyes Are Smiling concert will be one big musical St. Patrick’s celebration on Saturday 15th March.

The concert is part of the APO’s Symphonic Pops Series and will be held at the Aotea Centre, THE EDGE at the special matinee time of 3pm to fit in with the Auckland Irish community’s other St. Patrick’s Festival activities happening in the city on the day, including the annual parade down Queen Street that this year will finish at Britomart Square.

The concert will feature orchestrated renditions of Irish favourites such as Danny Boy, Finnegan’s Wake, She Moved Thro the Fair, Galway Bay, The Water is Wide, The Harp that Once Thro Tara’s Hall, The Cliffs of Dooneen and many more. The concert will be conducted by Sean O’Boyle, who conducted last year’s popular Scotland the Brave concerts, and special guest tenor, Seán Ruane. Experienced Irish fiddler, the APO’s Miranda Adams, will perform fiddle solos.

Dancers from the Doyle Academy of Irish Dance will also perform in the concert, including the current New Zealand champion for men over 17, 18-year-old Christopher Hodgson. Christopher has won seven New Zealand titles and qualified for the World Championships nine times.

“The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra is pleased to be able to join the St. Patrick’s Festival this year with this excellent musical celebration of Irish songs,” says APO Chief Executive Barbara Glaser. “We invite music-loving audiences on a journey through the Emerald Isle with a selection of songs to tug at the heart-strings and set the toes tapping.”
